Meals: D | | Day 3 | Sorak | Seoul - Sorak: Visit the breathtaking Mt. Sorak National Park and see its granite peaks and lush green forestry. Ascend to the summit by cable car (subject to weather conditions) for a panoramic view of Mt. Sorak. Walk up to the impressive Kwon Kum Seong Fortress for yet another spectacular sight of the outer Sorak Region. Next stop is at the Shinhungsa Temple, the place where the fascinating 60-foot bronze statue of the Peace Buddha resides. Meals: B,L,D | | Day 4 | Gyeongju | Sorak - Gyeongju: Take a trip to the historical city of Gyeongju. Stop at Korea's best known temple, the Bulguksa. Visit the Cheomseongdae Observatory, the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia. This Observatory, together with the Bulguksa, has been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Meals: B,L,D | | Day 5 | Pusan | Gyeongju - Pusan: Transfer to Pusan, the largest port city in Korea. Upon arrival, visit the famous Dragon Park and Haeundae Beach. This beach has earned its fame from its spectacular views of both the sunrise and moonrise. Make your way near the part to the famous Jagalchi Market. This place is also known as one of East Asia's largest seafood market. Meals: B,L,D | | Day 6 | Jeju | Pusan - Jeju: Take a domestic flight to the beautiful island of Jeju. Known for its romantic tropical settings, Jeju Island is a popular destination for couples and honeymooners alike. Visit the Seongeup Folk Village and see traditional Korean houses from the olden times. Next, proceed to Sungsan Sunrise Peak, a volcanic crater that is regarded by many tourists as the most impressive site in Jeju. Continue to visit the Teddy Bear Museum, the filming site of the famous Korean drama-series, "Princess Hours." Here, you'll find the world's largest collection of teddy bears, including the smallest teddy bear ever made and the most luxurious Louis Vuitton Bear. Meals: B,L,D | | Day 7 | Seoul | Jeju - Seoul: Take a domestic flight back to the capital city of Seoul. Upon arrival, visit a place of ancient Korean history, the Gyeongbok Palace. Constructed in 1394, this is the largest of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty. Proceed to the magnificent National Folk Museum where you'll find an impressive collection of artifacts illustrating Korean history and culture. Visit the Blue House, the residence of the current president of South Korea. Continue to the Korean Traditional Center where you can dress-up in traditional Korean costume and learn how to make Kimchi. This is a photo moment that cannot be missed! Next up is an opportunity to shop for what is hailed as the world's best ancient ginseng at the famous Ginseng Shop. Continue on to the Amethyst Factory where you can find locally produced gemstones. Meals: B,L,D | | Day 8 | Seoul | Seoul: Prepare to experience the heart of Korean tradition in the Korean Folk Village. Set in a natural environment, the 243 acre site contains over 260 traditional houses reminiscent to the times of Joseon Dynasty. Various features have been restored to provide visitors a broad understanding of Korean food, clothing, and housing styles of the past. You can visit the Folk Museum as well as the Art Museum to get a more in-depth learning experience of Korean culture and customs. The Korean Folk Village is also a filming location for the famous movie, Scandal, as well as the TV-series, Daejanggeum. Continue on to Korea's largest shopping district, Dongdaemun Market.
